There are now over 100 registered Messy Church expressions in Australia! If you are running a Messy Church expression, and have not yet registered it, please do so at Let us know about your Messy Church.

As a form of Children’s Ministry and outreach to families, Messy Church has been a massive international success.  Many Anglican churches in Southern Queensland have seized upon the format and are now some of the country’s leading exponents.

The best way to understand Messy Church is to experience it.  For the latest details of where to find your nearest Anglican Messy Church service, click on the link near the top of this page or visit our Diocesan Messy Church Facebook  group: https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/168649866614825/

If you are looking for a Messy Church near you, we are aware that these parishes are currently offering a program, either regularly or semi-regularly: Aspley-Albany Creek; Sherwood; Buderim; Kenmore-Brookfield; The Gap; Holland Park; Goodna; Kilcoy; Toowoomba West; …

In March 2013, Messy Church founder Lucy Moore visited Qld on tour and presented a masterclass at www.igniteexpo.org.au which several Anglican leaders attended.

Sue Taylor coordinates the Messy Church program at Sherwood parish, Brisbane, which is held at 9am on the third Sunday of each month, and visitors are warmly invited to join the congregation.

Sue was selected as one of two Queensland representatives to attend a National Roundtable meeting with Lucy Moore in 2013 to reflect on the spread of the Messy Church ministry in Australia, and where it may be leading.  Sue has offered her services as an honorary Messy Church consultant to any parish and may be contacted on (07) 3379 2723 or by email at taylor.susanne.coral (at) bigpond.com.
